• School and attention difficulties
• Sleep-related behavioral concerns
• Parenting guidance and behavioral strategies

When a child needs more specialized psychiatric, psychological, developmental, or behavioral services, we will help families identify the appropriate next level of care.

Same-Day Pediatric Care

We reserve same-day sick-visit appointments for established patients whenever possible.

Our goal is simple: once your child is part of our practice, we want it to be easy to reach us and get them seen when they are sick.

In-Office Testing

When clinically appropriate, testing may include:

• Rapid strep testing
• Influenza testing
• COVID-19 testing
• RSV testing
• Urinalysis
• Pregnancy testing when appropriate
• Specimen collection for laboratory testing

Minor Pediatric Procedures

• Simple laceration care
• Suture and staple removal
• Treatment of minor wounds
• Incision and drainage of selected superficial abscesses
• Removal of selected foreign bodies from the ear, nose, skin, or eye
• Treatment of selected warts and common skin lesions
• Umbilical granuloma treatment
• Minor burn and wound care

Care for Children With More Complex Medical Needs

We care for a limited number of children with medical complexity so that we can provide the time and attention these families deserve.

Medical records may need to be reviewed before scheduling a new patient with significant medical complexity.

Dr. Mendoza provides pediatric care in both English and Spanish, allowing families to discuss their child’s health in the language in which they feel most comfortable.

When Your Child Needs More

Not every problem belongs in a pediatric office. When your child needs emergency care, hospitalization, imaging, specialty evaluation, or services we do not provide in-office, we will help guide you toward the appropriate next step.
